  • The LNF (Lok Nayak Foundation) Literary Award 2025 will be presented to the eminent Telugu writer and scholar Velamala Simmanna. The award is given annually by the Lok Nayak Foundation to recognise significant contributions to the Telugu language, literature, and culture. The 2025 award carries a cash prize of ₹2 lakh and will be presented at a ceremony in Visakhapatnam on January 18, 2026. 
  • The Indian Navy commissioned INS Mahe, the first of the indigenously designed and built Mahe-class Anti-Submarine Warfare Shallow Water Craft (ASW-SWC), during a ceremony held at the Naval Dockyard, Mumbai.
  • Kashi Tamil Sangamam 4.0 will begin on December 2, announced by the Ministry of Education. The theme is ‘Learn Tamil – Tamil Karkalam / Karpom Tamil,’ aimed at promoting the Tamil language across India. The valedictory function will be held at Rameswaram, and a new initiative, Tamil Karpom, will help North Indian students learn Tamil in Tamil Nadu.
