- The President of India attended the “Skilling for AI Readiness” (SOAR) program, an initiative by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE). - The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has achieved a major milestone with the Ministry of Defence granting Acceptance of Necessity (AoN) for the SAMHO CLATGM (Cannon Launched Anti-Tank Guided Missile). Designed for the Arjun Main Battle Tank, this semi-active laser-guided missile meets the Indian Army’s requirement for engaging armored targets at extended ranges. Successfully tested at the KK Ranges in Ahmednagar, it can be fired from the Arjun tank’s 120 mm rifled gun.
