- The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi is the first in India to introduce a face transplant program. - India is set to finalize a major defence manufacturing agreement with France to produce Rafale fighter jets domestically for the first time. The project aims for 60 to 80 per cent indigenisation, significantly increasing local content.
