NDA 1 2026 Notification
NDA is a National-level entrance examination conducted by UPSC twice a year to recruit eligible candidates for the Army, Navy, and Air Force wings of the National Defence Academy. In this article, we will discuss the NDA Notification in detail.

NDA 1 2026 Vacancy
Generally, UPSC releases 400+ vacancies in each notification, including both male and female candidates. As there were a total of 406 vacancies in NDA 2 2025, 381 were for male candidates and 25 for female candidates. NDA Age Limit 2026:
Gender, Age Limit & Marital Status:
- Male & female candidates are eligible to apply for NDA.
- Only unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply. Candidates will not be allowed to marry until they complete their training period.
The candidate’s age should be between 16.5 to 19.5 years. For NDA 1 2026, the candidate must be born between 1st July 2007 to 1st July 2010. For NDA 2 2026, the candidate must be born between 1st January 2008 to 1st January 2011.
